Mid-Autumn Festival
Mid-Autumn festival is an important festival for Chinese people. It means family can get together. Every parent hopes their son or daughter will come back home to have a big dinner with them.
This year, the Mid-Autumn festival will be on Sep 8th. It’s much earlier than last year. It’s coming so soon, so I need to make a plan for it. Both my parents and parents-in-law hope my husband and I can stay with them that day, I don’t want any of them disappointed, so my husband, son and I will have lunch at my parents’. My sister’s family will come too then. We are sure to have a good time together.
At about 4:00 p.m., my family will leave for my parents-in-law’s home. I can imagine they must be very excited to see us. Of course we’ll have a big dinner together. After that, we will enjoy the moon and mooncakes. We will be talking happily. At grandparents must be so sweet though they’ll have much work to prepare.
On Mid-Autumn festival-such a special day, I think everybody hopes to spend it with his family. Though someone can’t get together with his family, he can send his feelings to his family via phone calls or texts, etc.
